Terms and Conditions

Your Agreement to These Akedo Shop Terms

When you visit Akedo Shop, use our website to discover battle arenas or action figures, or click through to Amazon to complete a purchase, you accept these Terms and Conditions in full. If you disagree with any part of these terms, please discontinue use of our site immediately. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

About Akedo Shop and Our Mission

Akedo Shop is an independent affiliate store dedicated exclusively to the Akedo Ultimate Arcade Warriors universe. We curate every product category—from starter packs for newcomers to collector packs for seasoned fans—to help you find the exact warrior or arena that fits your battle style. Our site exists to connect Akedo enthusiasts with authentic products available through Amazon, ensuring you get the genuine arcade-style combat experience that defines this toy line.

We are not Moose Toys, the manufacturer of Akedo products, nor are we affiliated with or endorsed by them. We operate as an independent resource and earn commissions when you purchase through our links, which supports our ability to maintain this specialized store.

How Akedo Shop Earns Through Amazon Associates

Akedo Shop participates in the Amazon Associates Program, an affiliate advertising initiative designed to provide sites like ours a way to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com. Every product link you see on our site—whether it’s for a Ninja Fury warrior, a Powerstorm Triple Strike arena, or a Battle Giants figure—contains our unique affiliate tag (akedo056-20). When you click one of these links and make a purchase on Amazon, we earn a small commission at no additional cost to you.

This commission structure is how we sustain Akedo Shop. The price you pay on Amazon remains identical whether you arrive via our affiliate link or search directly on Amazon yourself. We only link to products we believe genuinely serve Akedo collectors and players, and we never inflate product value or misrepresent availability to chase higher commissions.

Akedo Shop’s Content Rights and Your Limited License

All content on Akedo Shop—including product descriptions, category explanations, battle strategy tips, series guides, character comparisons, and visual presentation—is owned by Akedo Shop or licensed to us, and is protected by United States and international copyright laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use our site for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

You may not:

• Reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on Akedo Shop without our explicit written permission
• Use our site content for commercial purposes, including scraping product data to populate competing affiliate stores
• Frame or mirror any portion of Akedo Shop on another website
• Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices from materials obtained through our site

The Akedo name, Akedo Ultimate Arcade Warriors, Legends of Akedo, Ninja Fury, Powerstorm, and all character names and product names referenced on this site are trademarks of Moose Toys or their respective owners. Akedo Shop claims no ownership of these trademarks and uses them solely for descriptive and informational purposes to help fans identify the products they seek.

Expected Conduct When Using Akedo Shop

We maintain Akedo Shop as a community resource for Akedo fans of all ages. When you use our site, you agree not to:

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the site, other users’ accounts, or computer systems connected to our server
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of Akedo Shop or the data contained on our servers
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the site in a manner that sends more request messages to our servers than a human could reasonably produce in the same period using a conventional browser
• Collect or harvest any personally identifiable information from our site without consent
• Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with Akedo Shop or Moose Toys
• Use the site to transmit any unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable material

Violation of these conduct expectations may result in immediate termination of your access to Akedo Shop, and we reserve the right to take any legal action we deem appropriate.

User-Generated Content Policy

Currently, Akedo Shop does not host user comments, product reviews, or interactive forums directly on our site. Should we introduce these features in the future, any content you submit (reviews, battle strategy tips, collection photos, etc.) would be governed by the following:

• You retain ownership of your content but grant Akedo Shop a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, modify, and display your submitted content in connection with operating and promoting the site
• You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to any content you submit and that it does not violate any third party’s rights or any applicable laws
• We reserve the right to remove any user-generated content at our discretion, including content that violates these Terms, is off-topic, promotes competing products, or is deemed inappropriate for our audience

If we do implement user-generated content features, we will update these Terms accordingly and provide clear guidelines for participation.

Third-Party Links and Your Amazon Transactions

Akedo Shop links exclusively to Amazon.com for product purchases. When you click an affiliate link on our site, you leave Akedo Shop and enter Amazon’s platform, where Amazon’s Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and all transaction policies govern your experience. We are not responsible for:

• Product quality, accuracy of Amazon’s product listings, or fulfillment of your order
• Amazon’s customer service, return policies, or refund procedures
• Shipping costs, delivery times, or any shipping issues
• Price changes that occur after you leave our site (Amazon controls all pricing in real time)
• Stock availability—a product listed on Akedo Shop may be out of stock by the time you reach Amazon’s checkout

Your purchase contract is formed directly with Amazon, not with Akedo Shop. Any disputes, returns, or warranty claims must be handled through Amazon’s established processes. We encourage you to review Amazon’s policies before completing any transaction.

While we strive to link only to reputable products and current listings, we do not warrant that every link will remain active or that Amazon will never make errors in their product data. If you encounter a broken link or a listing that doesn’t match our description, please contact us so we can update our records.

Disclaimers Regarding Akedo Product Information

Akedo Shop provides all content “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:

• Accuracy: While we make every effort to describe Akedo warriors, battle arenas, and collector packs accurately, we do not guarantee that product descriptions, series information, or character details are error-free, complete, or current
• Availability: Product availability displayed on Akedo Shop is sourced from Amazon’s data feeds, which may not reflect real-time stock levels; items may sell out between your visit to our site and your checkout on Amazon
• Fitness for Purpose: We make no warranty that any Akedo product will meet your specific expectations, battle strategies, or collection goals
• Uninterrupted Access: We do not guarantee that Akedo Shop will be available at all times, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you. You may have additional rights that vary by jurisdiction.

Limitation of Akedo Shop’s Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Akedo Shop and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) Akedo Shop
• Any conduct or content of any third party on or through the site, including Amazon
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content
• Purchases made through Amazon affiliate links on our site
• Any reliance on product information, reviews, or recommendations provided on Akedo Shop

In no event shall Akedo Shop’s total liability to you for all damages, losses, and causes of action exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the six months prior to your claim. Since Akedo Shop is a free resource supported by affiliate commissions rather than direct user fees, this amount is typically zero.

These limitations apply whether the alleged liability is based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other basis, even if Akedo Shop has been advised of the possibility of such damage.

Your Indemnification of Akedo Shop

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Akedo Shop, its operators, affiliates, and service providers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to:

• Your violation of these Terms and Conditions
• Your use of Akedo Shop or any products purchased through Amazon links
• Your violation of any third party’s rights, including intellectual property rights or privacy rights
• Any user-generated content you submit (if such features are implemented)

Privacy and Data Collection at Akedo Shop

Your privacy matters to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information when you visit Akedo Shop. By using our site, you consent to the data practices described in that policy, including:

• Collection of basic browsing data (pages visited, device type, IP address) through standard web analytics
• Use of cookies and tracking technologies, including Amazon’s affiliate tracking cookies when you click our product links
• Optional collection of your email address if you sign up for an Akedo newsletter or promotional updates

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Any data we collect is used solely to improve Akedo Shop’s content, understand which products interest our visitors, and occasionally send promotional emails if you’ve opted in. You can opt out of emails at any time, and you can manage most tracking technologies through your browser settings.

Email Communications from Akedo Shop

If you provide your email address to Akedo Shop (for example, by signing up for a newsletter or product alert), you consent to receive:

• Occasional updates about new Akedo product releases, series launches, or Battle Giants additions
• Promotional messages highlighting featured products or special Amazon deals on Akedo items
• Administrative emails related to your account or our Terms and Privacy updates

All promotional emails include a clear unsubscribe link. Clicking it will remove you from future marketing messages, though we may still send administrative emails if necessary (for example, if a major change to our Terms affects your use of the site).

We respect your inbox. We do not send daily emails, and we never share your email address with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Children’s Privacy and COPPA Compliance

Akedo Shop is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. Akedo products themselves are toys designed for children, but this website is intended for parents, guardians, and adult collectors to research and purchase products on behalf of children.

If you are under 13, please do not submit any personal information through Akedo Shop. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. If you believe we might have information from or about a child under 13, please contact us at the address provided in the Contact Information section below.

Changes to These Akedo Shop Terms

Akedo Shop reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page and, if the changes are significant, we may provide additional notice (such as a banner on our homepage or an email to registered users if we have your contact information).

Your continued use of Akedo Shop after any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically to stay informed about our policies. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the site.

Changes to Akedo Shop’s Features and Content

We are constantly improving Akedo Shop to better serve Akedo fans—whether that means adding new product categories as Moose Toys releases them, reorganizing our category structure for easier navigation, or enhancing our series guides with more detailed warrior comparisons. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the site at any time without prior notice.

This includes the right to:

• Add or remove product categories (for example, if Akedo introduces a new series or discontinues an old one)
• Change our site layout, navigation, or visual design
• Update or remove product listings if Amazon discontinues carrying certain items
• Introduce new features (user reviews, collection tracking tools, battle strategy forums) or retire features that no longer serve our community

We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of Akedo Shop or any part thereof.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction for Akedo Shop Disputes

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of Washington, without regard to conflict of law principles. You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of Akedo Shop shall be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in King County, Washington, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

If you are accessing Akedo Shop from outside the United States, you do so at your own risk and are responsible for compliance with the laws of your jurisdiction. We make no representation that content on Akedo Shop is appropriate or available for use in locations outside the United States.

Dispute Resolution Process

If you have a dispute with Akedo Shop, we encourage you to first contact us informally at the address listed in the Contact Information section below. We will work with you in good faith to resolve most issues without formal legal proceedings.

If informal resolution is unsuccessful, you agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute through non-binding mediation in Seattle, Washington, with a mutually agreed-upon mediator. Only if mediation fails may either party proceed to litigation in the courts specified in the Governing Law section above.

You agree to waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against Akedo Shop. Any dispute must be brought on an individual basis.

Severability of Terms

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable for any reason, that provision shall be deemed severed from these Terms, and the invalidity of that provision shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions. The remaining Terms shall continue in full force and effect to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Entire Agreement Between You and Akedo Shop

These Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, constitute the entire agreement between you and Akedo Shop regarding your use of the site and supersede all prior or contemporaneous understandings and agreements, whether written or oral, regarding such subject matter.

No waiver of any term of these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term. Our failure to assert any right or provision under these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
